Bigfoot vs. Yeti

Happy Greetings Cryptozoologists!

Well, we did it! Bigfoot vs. Yeti made its goal (actually $130 over it) though it was a bit of a nail biter at the end there. This happened because of all of the support I got from all of you wonderful backers. Over that last day I saw Bigfoot vs. Yeti shared many, many times and many of you even increased your pledges to help us get over that funding goal. I honestly can't thank you all enough.

Now, it is time to move to the production stage as soon as the funds clear Kickstarter. I've already been in contact with the factory and am getting them prepared so we can move forward as soon as possible. As I do with all of my projects I have 95% of everything done ahead of time to minimize delays. I will keep you all updated as we progress.

The Bigfoot vs. Yeti battle in the comments section took a turn over the last day and ended with Yeti winning the title. Better luck next time Bigfoot.

Final Four Hours and We Are Almost There!

Hello All!   

The clock is running out on Bigfoot vs. Yeti and we are oh so close. As of this moment we are just $250 from funding! I have seen so many of you today posting, tweeting, sharing and even increasing your pledge and as you can see it has been an incredible help. Thank you all!

In less one than hour we will be live streaming, so please jump in and say hello and/or ask us a question. Remember, you can ask ahead of time by submitting a question to the campaign page.

Again, thank you all for your incredible support and efforts! Onward to the finish line!

Final 24 and Jackalopes For Everyone!

Hello Again Cryptozoologists!

As I'm sure you have noticed we are down to little more than a day left on Bigfoot vs. Yeti. We picked up quite a few backers leading up to this last day in part to our success at PAX Unplugged by getting the game in front of people to see. Special thanks to those of you from PAX who have now joined us.

As we enter this last upcoming day of the campaign we find ourselves just over $900 from our goal and getting Bigfoot vs. Yeti made. We can easily make this and I appreciate all the help you awesome people have provided so far by sharing Bigfoot vs. Yeti on social media and on game related websites such as Board Game Geek. So when I ask that you blast it out and talk it up over this last day I want you to know how much I appreciate what you are all doing. As such, I'm unlocking the first stretch goal so that as long as we fund anyone who has pledged for a copy of the game or higher will get the Jackalope set which is five Jackalope Expedition cards and the Jackalope Antlers Proof! card. Additionally, all the other stretch goals will be bumped down to the next lower level (Goal two becomes Goal one, etc.). I will make the update to the page to reflect this tomorrow morning.  

Another thing we will be doing to help raise visibility is a Kickstarter live tomorrow night at 7:00pm EST. Please if you have the chance drop in and ask us a question. If you can't be there live, you can submit a question on the main campaign page ahead of time and we will answer it. We are looking forward to all of your questions.

PAX Unplugged Update and Bonus Pinball Showdown Cards!

Hello Cryptozoologists!

This is just a fast hello from PAX Unplugged. So far it is going great we are happy to say that both Bigfoot vs. Yeti and Pinball Showdown are in the Indie Tournament Sampler Tomorrow (Sunday). If you are here, please sign up and also stop by booth 216 to say hi.

I wanted to let you all know that as a bonus for backing Bigfoot vs. Yeti I am going to give everyone who pledges at $19 or greater a few bonus Pinball Showdown cards with their pledge rewards. The cards are the Vari-Target set which was the 2017 convention promo while the Inline Targets (a three card set) have never been released anywhere. These are just extra bonus to thank you all for backing and for all of the sharing you have done for Bigfoot vs. Yeti. When the campaign is over you can expect a bonus that is for Bigfoot vs. Yeti for all backers too so stay tuned!

Speaking of sharing we are just over three days for the end of the campaign and are currently at 71% funded making us definitely within range of making our goal (the last few days usually bring in about 30%) Please continue to share Bigfoot vs. Yeti on social media and wherever you think it is appropriate. This is an immense help and I thank you.

One last thing, I want to remind you all about the Kickstarter live event we have scheduled for Tuesday at 7:00pm EST. Please drop in and ask questions. If you can't make it, please comment here or in the comments section so we can still answer whatever you are interested in.

PAX Unplugged, New Pledge Level, Livestream Scheduled!

Hello Again Cryptozoologists!

It is time for our next update and quite a bit is happening starting with PAX Unplugged. We will be there Friday 11/17 to Sunday 11/19 in Booth 216 demoing all of our games including Bigfoot vs. Yeti. Stop by if you are there to say "hi", play a game or check out the cool stretch goals/promos we have coming for Bigfoot vs. Yeti.

Next, I'd like to mention that Nick and I will be doing a livestream here on the last day of the Kickstarter Tuesday 11/21/17 starting at 7:00pm EST. We will answer any of your questions, tell you about the inspiration for Bigfoot vs. Yeti, discuss the various card abilities and maybe even some BvY strategy. Please join us and have some questions ready.

It is very typical for a Kickstarter campaign to be sluggish in the middle of its run and pick up a lot in the last two days. As we sit now we are at 62% with nine days left. This is well within goal range. As so many of you have been doing, sharing the project and talking about it in the appropriate venues online are a huge help. We thank you and hope you all will continue to share Bigfoot vs. Yeti with interested parties.

To help with this mid-campaign slow-down, we will be adding a new pledge level at noon EST tomorrow to hopefully spark some more interest. We made around a dozen prototypes of Bigfoot vs. Yeti to send to reviewers and use at conventions. We have five of those left and won't have a need for them after PAX Unplugged so we are letting them go to backers who might want them. These will be mailed in December and you will also get a production copy of the game along with all of the stretch goals when everyone else does in June. These prototypes contain all of the prototype stretch goals/promos some of which are different from the final production cards.

The Bigfoot vs. Yeti battle in the comments section is currently at a tie with Bigfoot and Yeti both at 18 votes! If you have not voted, please do! As always, if you have any questions please head to the comments section and if you have not already done so please weigh in on who is the king of the cryptids Bigfoot or Yeti and why.
